Does Anyone know what kind of doll this is?
I acquired a doll that is very old and am trying to find out what kind it is, as it has no writing on it. The face is a porcelain like material, and so are the boots that she is wearing and so are her hands. the body id made up of sponge over top of braided metal wire, that allows the doll to sit or be flexible. she is wearing a pair of black boots,that are made of ceramic like material, what looks like a pair of white pantaloons, a dress with red and white apron on it and a blue dunce cap or what looks like a dunce cap with white lace on bottom of it.any ideas what kind of doll this would be.
I thought it was gonna Walda until you got to the dunce cap. It's very difficult to ID a doll without a picture especially an unmarked one. It sounds like a modern porcelain doll by your description though.
